Broker Approval Criteria

  • Complete our broker application package below, including all required attachments. Note: incomplete applications will cause a delay in approval and may delay mortgage lending opportunities.
  • State licensing and authorization to originate and broker loans.
  • A history of business operations for two (2) years or more. In the case of newer firms, principals should have at least five (5) years’ experience in mortgage lending or brokering.
  • Maintain a good reputation in the mortgage industry with proven references, a high level of professionalism, and strong ethical standards.
  • Current good standing with all government licensing, regulatory bodies, and revenue collection agencies. This includes a public record clear of any civil or criminal judgments.
  • Brokers whose firm has been suspended or is currently under investigation by any agency will not be approved.

Broker Approval Process

Once you’re approved, you’ll be notified via e-mail. This email includes a unique Broker approval number and system access code to initiate mortgage lending deals with our team. 

Your Account Executive will also conduct a welcome call. Together, you and your AE will review the AHL Funding loan submission procedures.
